The construction season varies from year to year. Most years there is something to do all year, however the bulk of the home building occurs from March through October. For current construction sites and schedules, contact the Habitat for Humanity office at 385-5510 or gihfh@yahoo.com. Volunteers must be at least 14 years old to be on the construction sites. Those 14-18 need to have a signed release from their parents before they may volunteer on building a Habitat home.
