Support our Capital Campaign

Through the “Empowering People, Developing Community” campaign, Grand Island Area Habitat for Humanity is seeking philanthropic support to make the Capital Avenue Development a reality. The goal of the campaign is to raise $750,000 in contributions and pledges. The campaign will:

    •  Allow Grand Island Area Habitat for Humanity to help meet the workforce housing demands of a

         growing community

    •  Provide 22 affordable homes and home loans to qualifying buyers (approximately 90 people) 

    •  Continue to increase the area’s real estate and property tax revenues

    •  Contribute to the overall wellness and prosperity of the community as a whole

The Capital Avenue Development will increase Grand Island Area Habitat for Humanity’s capacity and fulfill its mission for years to come.
