Grady Erickson

I am truly honored to be nominated as a Mr. Habitat contestant in an effort to help provide assistance in changing the lives of so many. Affordable housing has always been one of the highest priorities in a person’s life; it was true back in my grandparent’s time, and I believe it to be especially true during the novel COVID-19 pandemic.

What I love about Habitat for Humanity, is that it does so much more than just make housing affordable. Habitat for Humanity teaches a person to fish, if you will, by providing a systemic approach that gives a new owner all the tools needed to be successful for years to come!

I personally believe that charitable organizations like Habitat for Humanity who help motivated individuals wish to better their lives, and the lives of their families, through hard work, perseverance, and continued determination deserve more than just admiration. I couldn’t think of a better cause to contribute to than one that focuses on the human side of life!
