GIVINGTUESDAY | NOW

MAY 5, 2020

GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.

#GivingTuesdayNow, a global day of unity to take place on May 5, 2020, was launched as a response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19.

Now more than ever, we are understanding the importance of a safe and secure home. These are uncharted waters and uncertain times, and we greatly appreciate your continued support, patience, and trust as we navigate this together.

Every day, we rely on people just like the homebuyers who partner with us. Our homebuyers are nurses, food service workers, bank tellers, construction workers. Some are seeing wages eliminated, while others are working overtime to help keep our community running safely. The effects of this crisis will have ripple effects for months to come.

"Housing is the prescription

we need. A healthy home is

a vaccine that provides both immunity and resilience."

- Megan Sandel, MD, MPH

In a time when very little is certain, you can help build stability and certainty for your neighbors with a gift to Habitat. If you are able, please consider donating during Giving Tuesday Now on May 5. Every little bit will make a huge difference in the lives of future homebuyers.
