Go Big GIVE is a 24-hour online giving event on May 2.

 

It inspires communities to come together to give as much as possible to support the work of nonprofits in Hall, Hamilton, Howard, and Merrick counties. The minimum donation is $10, but every gift grows with added match pool funds and incentive prizes. 

Go Big GIVE benefits the whole community 

Go Big GIVE provides us an additional opportunity to receive contributions, share our mission, and find new donors. Donations are eligible to receive proportional match pool funds and incentive prizes. Last year, more than 110 nonprofits participated in Go Big GIVE and raised over $676,000

Go Big GIVE provides an opportunity to grow philanthropy in our community. In 2018, more than 2,000 donors went BIG and gave, making our communities better places to live, work, and play. 

How can you get involved?

  • Visit www.gobiggive.org

  • Click the nonprofits button and search for "Grand Island Area Habitat for Humanity"

  • Donate online May 2 or set up an account to pre-give April 25-May 2.

  • Participate in our "Month of Change" giving calendar

  • Shout it out! Post, tweet, text, and share to let your friends know you participated

  • Create and share a Cheer Page for us and encourage your friends to give to Habitat. [Learn More]

  • Grab lunch from Cactus Jacks at our Go Big GIVE event on April 30 from 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

  • Provide money for a challenge grant and help our donations go even farther

Match Pool & Incentive Prizes

2019 PRIZES:

  • Never Enough - Most unique donors during Pre-Give and May 2.

  • Match Minute - From 6:00 - 6:56 a.m., first $100 matched per donor ($5,000)

  • Give A-Latte Prize - HIghest per capita gift from 9-10 a.m. ($1,000) and Most gifts from 9-10 a.m. ($500)

  • Give S'More Prize - HIghest per capita gift from 9-10 p.m. ($1,000) and Most gifts from 9-10 p.m. ($500)

After Go Big GIVE, a match pool of funds will be distributed proportionally based on the total amount raised by each nonprofit.

Cactus Jacks is back!

 

Stop by on Tuesday, April 30, from 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. for a delicious lunch and schedule your Go Big GIVE donation to support Grand Island Area Habitat for Humanity.

 

A portion of the proceeds from lunch will be donated back to Habitat.
