Grab your camera and hit the town!

Visit some of our community partners and learn more about Habitat through social media. This photo scavenger hunt will take you all around Grand Island. Find and photograph all locations and return this sheet to the Habitat office at 502 W. 2nd Street to be entered in a drawing to win our GRAND PRIZE!

Photograph yourself at the following locations, and post your pictures to Facebook. Deadline for completion is June 24. Get creative and show your Habitat spirit! Be sure to tag @GIHabitat, and use the hashtag #HabitatEmpowers.

Those who complete the photo hunt by Sunday, June 24, will be entered into our Grand Prize drawing! The winner will be announced on Facebook on Tuesday, June 26. Once you are finished, bring in or email us your completed form. You will be entered for a chance to win our Grand Prize, which includes items from our photo hunt participants! Grand Prize items include Dinner for 2 at Texas Roadhouse, $25 ReStore gift certificate and reusable bag, Habitat swag, and much, much more! 

Photo hunt locations:

Equitable Bank – 113 N. Locust Street #115
    o  Open Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    o  Fill in our “Home is” sign with what home means to you, and snap a selfie with the sign.
Century Lumber – 363 N. Pine Street 
    o  Open Monday - Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.

    o  Take a selfie in front of their business sign, and be sure to stop in the store to sign the 2x4,
         which will be placed into the first home built in our development!
ReStore – 3204 W. College Street 
    o  Open Tuesday - Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

    o  Snag a member of the staff for a selfie, or take a picture in front of their business sign.
Messiah Lutheran Church – 122 W. 7th Street
    o  Take a photo in front of the church’s sign.
Career Pathways Institute – 1215 S. Adams Street
    o  Snap a selfie with the school’s sign
Habitat Construction worksite (House #95) – 525 St. Paul Road
    o  Visit the construction site on Saturday, June 16, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and get a photo   
        with one of our volunteers, or stop by anytime and take a selfie with the Habitat home sign.
Habitat affiliate office – 502 W. 2nd Street 
    o  Open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
    o  Stop by and take a photo with the staff. 
Tom Dinsdale Automotive – 1708 S. Webb Road
     o  Open Mon.-Thurs. 8 a.m. to 7:15 p.m., Fri. 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sat. 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
     o  Take a selfie with the Jerry’s Sheet Metal truck in the lobby, or test drive a new car and tell    
          them Habitat sent you. Just don’t forget to take a photo!
Copycat Printing and Signs – 365 N. Broadwell Avenue
    o  Pose with the paw print landscaping in front of the store
Capital Avenue Development – adjacent to 1027 E. Capital Avenue
    o  Snap a photo in front of the development sign
Texas Roadhouse – 232 Wilmar Avenue
     o  Have some fun with this one. If you are there for our fundraising night on Friday, June 22,
         from 4-10 p.m., take a selfie with your server or snap a pic of your food. Be sure to tell them 
         you are there for Habitat! If you’re not dining out, take a photo in front of their business sign.
