You can also find branded tin cans near each register at HyVee! From 4-7, you can find us at Small Town Famous in Grand Island, Nebraska. We will be selling a limited edition run of branded Habitat shirts! Small Town Famous will also be donating 10% of all sales throughout the night as well. WHY I GIVE TO HABITAT
DON, VOLUNTEER
I give my time and "limited" treasure to Habitat as I have witnessed the gratitude and appreciation of families that are chosen to occupy a Habitat House and how this is shown by the way they keep up their homes to the benefit of their new neighbors. The impact really hits home for me when a new family gets the keys to their home.
BOB, VOLUNTEER
I get a lot more out of volunteering for Habitat than what I put in. My daughter and I started volunteering in Habitat since 1996 and the rest has been history. I've worked with over 5 affiliates and some of the most nicest people I've ever met have been on Habitat's construction sites.
MICHAEL, VOLUNTEER
When you choose to support an organization there area at least 2 things to consider up front. Do they fill a need and are they effective at it. Habitat certainly fills a major need of helping families live in a safe, clean and affordable home. The application and selection process plus the homeownership training that Habitat families go through has proven to set them up for success. So, Habitat is a winner on both of these considerations and I am proud to be a supporter of this local organization.
