OUR OFFICE IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
Our office is open to the public with regular business hours of Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We do ask that those who come in, call when at the door and wear a mask.
We will be working on the construction site on Saturdays again but limiting the group size. We will be taking precautions on the construction site to help ensure our volunteers are working safely. If you or your group is interested in volunteering, please call the office at 308-385-5510 to see what days are available.
We are sad to announce the immediate closing of the ReStore. We are working on a plan so that our customers may still be able to use Rewards points, Gift Certificates and arrange for pick-up of already purchased items.
We thank all our supporters - donors, customers and staff. Please continue to visit other area thrift stores, and utilize the services of Clean Community Systems. Reuse, repurpose, recycle.
ReStores in Lincoln and Omaha remain open.
We greatly appreciate your support and understanding during this unusual and difficult time.

About Grand Island Area Habitat
Our Mission: Grand Island Area Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical ministry seeking to help low-income households into better housing environments through new home construction. Our aim is to create an environment of hope, dignity and a truly human existence for all people.
A Habitat home is a strong foundation for a family, an opportunity on which they can build a better life. Strong and stable homes help build strong and stable communities.
A Habitat home is a stabilizing force for a family. Better, affordable living conditions lead to improved health, stronger childhood development and the ability — and financial flexibility — to make forward-looking choices.
Through shelter, we empower. A decent place to live and an affordable mortgage help homeowners save more, invest in education, pursue opportunity and have more financial stability.
Your financial support, your time, and your voice will help bring independence to families in need of a decent place to live.
