Mr. Habitat

Mr. Habitat is Grand Island Area Habitat for Humanity’s annual fundraising event that brings together local community members for a fun and friendly competition in support of Habitat’s mission.

Each candidate has a goal of raising $20,000 through personal fundraising, community events, business collaborations, sponsorships, and other creative efforts. Every donation made in support of a candidate counts as a vote toward being crowned Mr. Habitat 2026.

The campaign concludes with the Mr. Habitat event, where supporters come together for an evening of food, drinks, a dessert auction, and the crowning of Mr. Habitat 2026. Most importantly, every dollar raised supports Grand Island Area Habitat for Humanity and our work to build homes, communities, and hope.
